Management, communications, administration, leadership: I keep busy!
Technology and the constantly changing way people use it has always fascinated me. I remember the first call ringing on my first Nokia (with bubble buttons!): everyone on the bus turned their head to see what the disturbance was.
Born in the Netherlands, I've made Dublin my home for nearly twenty years. I have served on the boards of numerous Irish charities (notably BWI and Cuidiu) and am currently the Chairperson for De Madelief (International Dutch school in Ireland).
Technology and digital communication are integral to my everyday life, and finding the balance is an active task for every day.

I'm a psychologist and have worked with children and their families for more than twenty years. Over that time, technology (and the way we use it) has changed completely.
In clinical settings, I have seen the many challenges that technology, smartphones and the internet can bring to family life, while also recognising the many benefits of our modern, interconnected world.
The question of how to introduce technology positively to children and young people has been an ongoing personal fascination.
That question led me to pursue a Master's in Cyberpsychology (the study of behaviour online) and ultimately to develop HomeFón.
A family project
Willemein and Ronan are a husband-and-wife team who have managed and operated Cluas.ie for more than ten years.
