A shared family phone, for calls and texts.

HomeFón lives in a shared space, the hall or kitchen. Your child can call and text the people you approve, with no internet access.
Designed for child protection and safeguarding. Built for GDPR, EU data protection and Ireland’s DPC Fundamentals.
See how it worksThe jump from no phone to a personal smartphone is big.
All or nothing
For many families, there is no real step between having no phone and giving a child their own private device.
Pressure to keep up
Parents want a reliable way to stay in touch. Children want to be part of the planning and chats. Neither needs a private, internet-connected phone.
A smartphone opens the door
A personal smartphone lets social media, inappropriate content and contact reach a child directly. Parents often can’t see what is on the children’s phone, parental controls leave gaps, and reading messages in secret damages trust.
HomeFón is a step between no phone at all and a private smartphone, giving children room to develop good phone habits.
A phone that belongs to the house, not a child.
The HomeFón lives in a fixed spot in the hall or kitchen, not in a pocket or a bedroom. When your child leaves for training, goes to the shops or visits a friend, it can go with them. Afterwards, it goes back to its place at home.
HomeFón can call and message approved people, including friends, and nothing else. Each child has their own profile with their own contacts, and parents decide who is on each list and when the phone goes quiet.
It can go out the door too.
When your child heads to training, a friend's house or the bus home, the HomeFón can go with them. You can reach them and they can reach you.
You choose who else they can contact while they're out. It can be their usual approved contacts, or only you and their emergency contacts. No trip setting takes away emergency calls or your child's emergency contacts.
Outside the house, nothing new opens up. There are still no apps, no internet and no strangers.
Up and running in an evening.
1 · Your HomeFón arrives
Turn it on and follow the short steps on your setup card to connect it to your account.
2 · Create a profile
In your parent dashboard, create a profile for your child (or children), add contacts and set quiet hours.
3 · Give it a home
HomeFón works best in a fixed, shared spot, like the hall table or a place on the wall. It lives there, rather than drifting from room to room. When your child goes out, it can go with them, and afterwards it comes back to its place. A phone that knows its place.
The useful things, and not much else.
Calls to approved people
Your child can call the contacts you approve. Calls from anyone else don't ring through.
Parent dashboard
Manage HomeFón from your online dashboard. Give each child their own profile, create contacts, enable quiet time, all from your phone or computer. Share access with another parent, even across two households.
Texting & small group chats
Your child can text approved contacts and take part in group chats of up to 5 people. Texts from numbers you haven't approved never reach your child, and are held in your dashboard for you to see. There are no photos or videos, and messages can't be screenshotted, forwarded or deleted.
Quiet hours
The phone sleeps when the family does. You set the schedule from the dashboard.
Emergency calls, whatever the settings
No setting blocks a call to 999 or 112. Your child's emergency contacts can reach them, and your child can call them back, even during quiet hours.
No social media, no open internet
There is no browser, no app store and nothing to scroll.
One package, one phone.
